Aamir Khan, who is currently busy with P.K. and Dhoom 3, may direct a film next after a gap of six years. Aamir made his directorial debut with Taare Zameen Par in 2007. According to reports, Mr Prefectionist has already started workignf or his directorial venture and is keeping all the details under wraps. He might start the film after the relase of Rajkumar Hirani's P.K. The film is reportedly written by a female writer and even the actor's staff is unaware about these developments.

"It's an unusual film, but it's still in the mainstream space. He has started work on it, but his focus right now is only on Dhoom 3," a leading daily quoted an industry insider. Aamir has not signed any other acting assignments after P.K.. The only other project he will do is the second season of his TV show, Satyamev Jayate.
