Amala Paul, the most happening actress down the South is reported to be debuting into Bollywood with AR Murugadoss directed Ramana. To be directed by Krish, Akshay Kumar will play the protagonist in this film. Amala seems to be impressed with the narration of Krish, as the revised script has single heroine unlike the original that casts Simran and Ashima opposite Vijaykanth. Earlier we heard the names of Shruti Haasan and Ileana to don the female lead in Ramana remake, but Amala Paul is expected to sign the dotted line soon.

Equally famous in Kollywood and Tollywood, post Vijay’s Thalaivaa Amala is busy with Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pttathari along with bilingual Nimirndhu Nil, Janda Pi Kapiraju in Tamil and Telugu opposite Jayam Ravi and Nani respectively.
