Shahrukh Khan, who acted with Shammi Kapoor in 'Chamatkar' (1992), paid his homage to the late actor at his Malabar Hill home on Sunday (August 14) evening.Shah Rukh, who arrived in a black BMW, did not stay inside the house for very long and also didn't speak to the media.

Also present was Ranbir Kapoor, who is Shammi Kapoor's grandnephew.Shammi Kapoor had recently acted in Ranbir's forthcoming film 'Rockstar' that is being directed by Imtiaz Ali.Anil Kapoor, who is related to the Kapoors, also came to pay his last respects.

Shammi Kapoor, the dancing star of the 1950s and 1960s who revolutionised the image of Hindi film heroes with his carefree attitude and flamboyance, died in Mumbai Sunday (August 14) morning. He was 79.His cremation will be held today (August 15).More tributes also continued to pour in from the stars for the legend on Twitter.

Hrithik Roshan wrote in a touching post: "Legends like Shammi Kapoor do not die...he lives, inside us...around us....a journey such as his should be rejoiced...not mourned...of course we'll miss his physical presence terribly...but his magic lives on within you and me...n I will make sure my sons know the SUPERSTAR their dad admired and love the most...thank u shammi uncle....and for u I don't want to say R.I.P, but rather D.I.H ...dancing in heaven now...I love you..."
