Two film actors Tanisha Mukherjee and Madhoo made their sparkling theatrical debut in Divya Palat's 'The Verdict' at a private preview at a suburban five star. Friends Zeba Kohli, Queenie Singh, Simone Arora, Narendra Kumar Ahmed, Rashmi Uday Singh, and industry favourites Juhi Chawla, Jai Mehta, Hema Malini, Sanjay Khan, Tanuja and Kajol came to cheer them.

When your diarist dropped by to meet the cast backstage, during the interval, Palat warned not to keep the door open for long. "Madhoo attracts people here, and long chats," she smiled. While Madhoo looked relieved, Tanisha was a bundle of nerves. So much so she even requested Palat to hold her hand and not go out of sight. The usually inseparable Palat and husband Aditya Hitkari played lawyers but on opposing sides.
