Born on August 1, 1987, Taapsee Pannu is a busy gal. She’s awaiting the release of the high-profile Ajith film, Arrambham, directed by Vishnuvardhan and is also shooting for Ganga, the third in the Muni series by Raghava Lawrence. This year, she made her Bollywood debut in Chashme Baddoor, and also starred in Telugu flicks Shadow with Venkatesh and Sahasam with Gopichand. The model-turned-actor, who made her debut just three years ago, in Jhummandi Naadam, has done pretty well for herself, indeed.

Her second film itself vaulted her to fame, for Aadukalam, in which she played an Anglo Indian girl opposite Dhanush, won a National Award and much acclaim for its actors. Taapsee has also featured in the Malayalam film and Mammootty-starrer Doubles. But it’s Tollywood she’s busiest in, having acted in films such as Daruvu, Mogudu and Gundello Godari.
