Latest item jig starring Sonakshi and Akshay becomes the most expensive song ever made in Bollywood

The grand spectacle of Bollywood keeps getting bigger and more majestic. Sonakshi Sinha's latest item jig, for the Akshay Kumar starrer Boss, is being touted as the most expensive song ever shot in Bollywood with an estimated budget of Rs.6 crore. A dance number, 'Party All Night' features rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and will see Sonakshi shake a leg with Akshay and in all probability, dancer extraordinaire Prabhudeva. In addition, as many as 600 foreign models were hired as background dancers for the song choreographed by Sumit Dutt (of 'Dhinka Chika', 'Character Dheela' and 'Desi Beat' fame) and Raju Khan.

The second half of the song will be shot at a pub in Bangkok.'Party All Night' is Sonakshi's third item song. The actor, who is said to have shed a lot of weight for the song, will be seen in a sequinned little black dress in the song - a far cry from her sari-clad look in her recent hit, Lootera. Co-produced by Akshay and Ashwin Varde, Boss is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Pokkiri Raja and stars Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari, besides Akshay. The film is directed by Anthony D'Souza, who also made the grand dud Blue, and is set to hit the screens in October.
