Actress Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and the Saif Ali Khan will be coming together for the first time onscreen for a film. But it will not be an extravagant Bollywood affair, rather a film documented on nutrition called, ‘The Indian Food Wisdom and the art of eating right’. Directed by Rujuta Diwekar, this documentary film is an attempt to revive the lost art of oral wisdom and the importance of eating the right things for a better and a healthier lifestyle.
“I am super excited that Kareena, Karisma and Saif are all a part of this film. It’s a casting coup of sorts! But what is more important is that we are all sharing our common belief that eating right, eating local, seasonal, fresh and tasty food is integral to looking good, feeling light and happy,” says director Rujuta and adds, “And like Saif often says that happy people are most attractive, not skinny.” Along with this family trio, Richa Chadda and Anupam Kher are going to be a part of this film. Official launch of the DVD is on July 27, 2013.
