There has been several rumours and speculations over the cast of superstar Shahrukh Khan's upcoming movie Happy New Year. According to the latest rumours, Ankita Lokhande might be seen opposite SRK in Farah Khan's movie Happy New Year. In fact, Mid Day claims that Lokhande has apparently thanked Khan for helping her bag a role in the film.

Reportedly, Shahrukh Khan recently spotted Ankita at a concluded awards gala in Macau. It is said that SRK felt that Ankita would perfectly fit into the concerned role in the film. He also spoke to Farah Khan regarding this. When Lokhande returned from Macau, she met Farah and finally bagged the lead female actor's role in the film opposite Khan. If this piece of information turns true, Happy New Year will be Ankita Lokhande debut Bollywood flick.
