In his heyday, the name Aravind Swamy was enough to make female fans go weak in their knees. Starting with Thalapathi, Aravind Swamy carved a niche for himself in the industry with Roja and other critically acclaimed movies directed by Mani Ratnam including Bombay and Alapayudhe. He later left movies to pursue business. Mani brought him back to silver screen with his recently released Kadal after a long gap.
Aravind now seems to be back in action and is considering a few scripts. Sources aver that he has agreed to star in a Bollywood film, directed by Bejoy Nambiar whose recent film David had Vikram in the lead. Interstingly Bejoy Nambiar apprenticed with Mani Ratnam. Though no other details are available at the moment, this combination will raise enough curiosity among fans.
