Fresh from her well-received performance at the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular, pop star Selena Gomez has unveiled a short teaser for her forthcoming new album "Stars Dance", set to the tune of its title track and reminding fans of its July 23 release date. The 20-year-old singer's debut solo album includes her current No. 1 hit "Come & Get It" and latest single "Slow Down". The 27-second clip opens up right away by revealing the track's producer Rock Mafia, who posted the link on their official Twitter account. It is then followed by the album's cover image of a black-and-white photo of Gomez garbed in an elaborately beaded outfit and headpiece, with her left hand stroking the side of her face, before closing out with the album's due date. The teaser certainly embodies the title with all the starry visuals that gives you the illusion you're in outer space, coupled with the electronica-inspired instrumentals giving listeners that extra-terrestrial feeling.
It's another different, out-of-this-world theme she is exploring here after her "Arabian Nights" and Bollywood-inspired concept in "Come & Get It". For fans of her never-ending love saga with Justin Bieber, fans will be treated to "Love Will Remember", the most personal track on the record, according to Gomez, as it is admittedly about her on-and-off relationship with the oftentimes controversial global heartthrob. As fans wait for the album to hit the stores, they can, for the meantime, catch Gomez this weekend on the Weekend Countdown and Hit Bound programs on SiriusXMHits1.
