Promo of BAJATEY RAHO is on and while one does get the feel of a racy comedy in the offering with a distinct thriller element to it, the Delhi flavour and also the 'revenge angle' is invoking a similar response as had been generated by KHOSLA KA GHOSLA years go."What had worked for KHOSLA KA GHOSLA was the realistic flavour that it had carried. Moreover, it too was about a common man's (Anupam Kher) win over someone much more powerful (Boman Irani). Now in BAJATEY RAHO too, there are four distinct characters from a middle class background (Dolly Ahluwalia, Tusshar Kapoor, Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey) coming together to take on Ravi Kishan, who plays a millionaire in the film," informs a source.
With director Shashant A Shah ensuring that Delhi flavour is visible in every frame of the film by means of locations, costumes, dialect and overall mannerisms, BAJATEY RAHO is exuding positive vibes due to its rooted appeal"That's right, the film is as aesthetic as it gets," says Tusshar Kapoor, "Shashant has a very interesting way of narrating his tales. He has an unconventional approach towards storytelling. In fact not just KHOSLA KA GHOSLA, the film also reminds me of CHALO DILLI, which Shashant had directed last. He belongs to the new wave directors. He knows how to make a meaningful film which is also a lot entertaining and funny with some good 'dhamaal' for the audience." We would love to see that being the case once this Eros production releases all over on 25th July.
