After the special screening of 'Lootera' on Sunday evening, an overwhelmed Karan Johar decided to throw an impromptu dinner bash for all the attendees, which included the cast of the film- Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh, director Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Ekta Kapoor—along with a whole bunch of other filmmakers. It is learnt that after the special preview KJo invited everybody to an eatery at Bandra, after which the party moved on to a one of his friend's place in Juhu.

The director, who was bowled over by the film, profusely appreciated Motwane. According to sources, he told Ekta and about the high standards they have to attain in their next joint production, Badtameez Dil (working title), starring Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor. Others who joined the dinner included R Balki and wife Gauri Shinde, Kiran Rao, Zoya Akhtar and Homi Adjania.
