Zoya Akhtar was upbeat about casting Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan together in her next film, as it is centred on the brother-sister relationship that the two could do so well, reflecting real life. However, the cousins backed out of the project one after the other and the Rockstar actor was replaced by Ranveer Singh. Now the Ramleela dude will be seen playing the role of the brother and we hear that either Kajol or Priyanka Chopra could essay the role of his sister in the film. Apparently Zoya is considering these two actors for the coveted position, but we still cannot guess who will eventually step into the shoes originally intended for Bebo.

Kajol has been missing from the silver screen for a while now and we are eager to see her do what she does best: act! Also, the Bengali beauty would fit the bill perfectly if she had to play Ranveer’s elder sister. On the other hand, Priyanka shares a great rapport with the Band Baaja Baaraat actor – the duo is working together in Gunday, remember? So their already established chemistry would surely work wonders for the film. And if the script demands that the brother-sister be of the same-ish age, then Ranveer and PeeCee suit the requirement well, wethinks!
