Uttarakhand flood has touched the hearts of all. People from all over India are raising hands to help the flood struck victims, who have lost their loved ones or are missing. The tragedy has also pained Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt deeply and to help his people in their hard time, the 53-year-old sacrificed his upcoming film Policegiri’s promotion and asked to raise funds for their relief. The news buzzing the town is that Sanjay has reportedly asked his wife Manyata Dutt to organize a charity show to raise funds for the flood affected sufferers. The producer of Policegiri, Rahul Aggarwal has commented, "It's very touching that Sanjay actually decided to collect funds for these victims rather than promoting the movie in Dubai.
" He added in his statement saying, "This is not the first time he has been involved in charity. During the tsunami too, Sanjay had raised about Rs 2 crores for the victims."The actor has been convicted for the illegal position of arms in Bombay blasts 1993 case. The Uttarakhand tragedy was the worst hit natural calamity that occurred on June 16 in the north Indian states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. 1000 people died in this massacre and around 5000 are reported missing. The water wave took away the infrastructure of these states and left them for rehabilitation.
