Salman Khan is still facing the consequences of the Chinkara he killed in Jodhpur in 1998. The actor has been given a notice to be present at the Jodhpur court once before September 20, 2011. Sources say that since his conviction, Salman has never presented himself before the court and just because he is a celebrity the court cannot let him go all the time.
The reason behind Salman not coming to the court was also justified as the star as a huge fan following and his presence would cause havoc in court premises. Salman in 1998 had gone hunting with his co-stars when he was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ and apparently killed a black buck and a chinkara. The actor had been found guilty and was convicted of one year imprisonment.
