Before entering into acting, Sonam Kapoor has worked as an Assistant Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black (2005). And now she is willing to start her directing career. The actress has stated that apart from doing acting, she wants to make films also. But she has also mentioned that this might happen after a decade or so. Working with Sanjay must have sharpened her directing skills it seems and she will showcase that too for her fans.

Sonam’s recent films like; Players, Mausam, Thank You might have not done well at the box office but the actress is still exploring her acting flair. At present, stylish Sonam is busy in promoting her upcoming next, Raanjhanaa (June 21), where she is acting opposite South Indian superstar Dhanush. She also has a big film coming up with Farhan Akhtar; Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and will be starting her Khoobsurat (1980) remake project which will be produced by her sister Rhea.
