Anurag & Ranbir have come together for Barfi! and we all know what a massive success that film was. And now the duo has launched their own production house named Picture Shuru Productions. Ranbir and Anurag have found this name for their banner, derived from the lyrics of the credit roll song of Barfi! They were hooked to the word. The pair heard it first while recording the song and it has stayed with them all these months and finally they zeroed on it.

The flicks produced under Picture Shuru Productions will have Ranbir in the lead roles with Anurag behind the camera to direct him. Jagga Jasoos is going to be the first release of this venture where Ranbir will be seen playing the role of a sleuth. Ranbir is currently shooting for Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam and will follow it up with Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. Ranbir and Anurag are also trying to finalise the details of the Kishore Kumar’s biopic, which is one of the dream projects of Anurag.
