It's believed that Aamir Khan is a perfectionist in the Hindi film industry. He likes everything to be just right. But Sonakshi Sinha begs to differ and has a different philosophy. At the music launch of her upcoming film, LOOTERA she said, ''I'm far from being perfect. Being perfect is boring. It's the imperfections that draw your attention.'' It seems that doing research for roles isn't Sonakshi's cup of tea. She says,''I'm very bad at this. I don't do any research. I cannot switch on until the camera turns on. The best preparation I could do was to go and talk to Vikramaditya Motwane and understand what he had in mind for the character. He made it very easy for me. He's the best director I've worked with.''
The actress seems to be very confident about her role of Pakhi in the film. ''When someone comes to me with a script, I usually picture other heroines who might fit into the role. But for this role, I could only picture myself. I believed right from the start that this role was written for me and I just wanted to give it my best shot. I knew that this would be my most difficult film. I knew that this would be my most performance-oriented film. I took it up as a challenge and Vikramaditya Motwane helped me through it all. I thank him and hope that I've done justice to Pakhi's character.''
