Rajat Arora is busier than ever. After wrapping up ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI AGAIN which is being pitched as a magnum opus of some proportion, he is now moving on to an even bigger affair in the form of KICK. While collaborating with Chetan Bhagat on the film's writing, he is also exploring a new world outside the one where he had enjoyed each of his outings so far with Milan Luthria.''This is after ages that he is working with any filmmaker other than Milan Luthria,'' informs a source, ''With Sajid Nadiadwala making his debut as a director for KICK, Rajat is adapting himself to a new sensibility. Just like Milan, Sajid too is a very hands-on filmmaker. Even as a producer he has been so involved in every aspect of filmmaking. Now that he is turning a director, the level of interaction that he has with his directors has gone up manifold. This is turning out to be good for Rajat too since he isn't working in isolation and has a constant exchange of ideas with his director.''
For someone who has worked with Milan in five straight films - TAXI NO.9211, HATTRICK, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, THE DIRTY PICTURE and now ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI AGAIN - Rajat is now getting a 'kick' out of 'Kick' which is incidentally also his first work for Salman Khan. ''Yes, collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala has been great. Whenever you work with someone who wants to make a good film, it is always a pleasure to be associated. The kind of energy and enthusiasm that Sajid carries is infectious. It has been a great journey so far and I am looking forward to how KICK unfolds on screen'', says Rajat.
