At Karan Johar’s recent birthday bash, Ranveer Singh and his alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone arrived around the same time in their respective cars. Right from the time he entered the party till he made an exit, Ranveer’s attention-seeking behavior ticked off Deepika.

According to eyewitnesses Deepika, without mincing words, had asked Ranveer not to display his over-friendly’ attitude. “Ranveer is a good guy but he gets carried away easily. In his zest to be liked by people and to grab attention, he tends to goof up,” says a co-star who was present at the party. While most of the other actors and celebrities didn’t get off their cars to pose for the photographers, Ranveer was one of the few who jumped out of the car and was seen waving and posing for pictures. “Ranveer doesn’t really need to make an effort in front of the media. He is a star already. The problem is that he doesn’t take himself seriously,” says an eyewitness. This seems to have become an issue for Deepika. In the past too, Ranveer has been reprimanded for the same reason by Kareena Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. But Ranveer seems to be least bothered.
