In a recent interview with Variety, an international magazine, Mallika Sherawat made comments about Indian society being a regressive for women. This interview instigated models Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra, who made furious remarks on the subject.
With Twitter being the most favourite medium of expression these days, the two bombshells came down heavily on Sherawat, tweeting about their notion of 'Indian society' and criticising the actress. Mallika, who shifted base to Los Angeles, said in the interview, “I made a conscious decision to divide my time between Los Angeles and India. So when I enjoy the social freedom in America and go back to India, which is so regressive for women, it’s depressing". Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra slammed the 36 year old Sherawat for these comments. Chopra tweeted, Had India been "regressive" & "depressing", people such as myself would've been outta work..Why endorse a prejudicial opinion of INDIA???!!!
