The ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ girl Freida Pinto, who is currently riding high on the success of her latest Hollywood venture ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’, in a recent conversation with MM.com, articulated that she doesn’t like the word Bollywood. Reportedly, when asked if she has any plans of signing a Bollywood movie, the actress stated that if she is approached for a Bollywood movie which impresses her, she would definitely be a part of it.
However, Freida doesn’t like the word Bollywood; rather she prefers using the term median cinema while referring to Bollywood. Citing the reason why she doesn’t like the word Bollywood, the hottie told MM.com, “I don’t like the word Bollywood, I like to use the phrase median cinema instead. I think sometimes when you use Bollywood you’re only thinking mainstream and thereby omitting people like Satayjit Ray and others who are equally amazing and have contributed so much to the world of cinema.” Freida spills the beans about her relationship with Dev Both, Freida and Dev have been in a love-relationship ever since their 2009’s flick ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ won them humongous accolades and awards. Formerly, rumors had it that Dev and Freida have tied the knot in a hush-hush.
However, the actress refuted the gossips and cleared the airs by stating that she and Dev are not married and they can’t even think of getting hitched for the coming five years or so. But then, the babe quickly added that although she is denying having any plans for marriage at present, one never knows what is in store.
“No, we're not married. I can't even imagine we'll be married in five years… OK, I'm saying no right now; tomorrow I might surprise you. Who knows?,” said Freida, rubbishing the marriage rumors. A girl can dream--Freida Freida, who is doing quite-well professionally, is still in search of her dream house. Apparently, the bombshell is keen to buy herself a house in Mumbai.
Not only in Mumbai, but the actress wants to have her own dwelling in London, New York and Montreal also. Expressing her desire, Freida said, “I'm still looking for that one place where I can put my name at the door. I know it’s very ambitious at this point in time but I want homes in [Mumbai], London, New York and Montreal. A girl can dream.”
