Salman Khan's Mental co-star Sana Khan is reportedly absconding after being charged with abduction of a 15-year-old girl and director Sohail Khan says that the actress is not required for the film's current schedule. There were reports that the shooting of Mental was being affected by Sana's disappearance. But producer-director Sohail Khan said that Sana is not a part of the current schedule of Mental.
"There is no question of her absence affecting the shooting. Because firstly she doesn't have a major part. The main female roles are played by Tabu and Daisy Shah. Salman Khan had made an implicit promise to cast her, and he did. And unless absolutely necessary, Salman and Sohail won't replace her. But if they have to, it's no big deal because she has hardly shot for the film. And secondly she isn't part of the current schedule. So where's the question of the shooting being affected?" a source said.
"I read about Sana just as you did. I am clueless about what's happened to her. But I am not required to shoot with her for a month. By then I hope her problems are sorted out and her life returns to normal."Earlier there were reports that Salman Khan was concerned about his Mental co-star and former Bigg Boss contestant, Sana Khan. 25-year-old model-turned-actress Sana, who rose to fame after featuring in few commercials, is wanted by police in a case involving the abduction of a teenager for rejecting her cousin's marriage proposal. Sana was signed on by Sohail Khan for Salman's next project Mental.
