It's the latest in a series of incidents where Bollywood celebrities have been detained at airports for allegedly not paying the required duty - Balaji Telefilms founder Ekta Kapoor had the experience last night and through early this morning in Mumbai.

Ekta was returning to Mumbai from Bangkok when she detained at Mumbai aiport. Apparently, she was travelling with goods worth Rs 10 lakhs but only declared to the amount of Rs 8 lakhs. When questioned by customs officials, Ekta is believed to have  paid the extra duty as well as the fine. She was then let off but hasn't made a statement about what happened.

The producer, who is currently producing 'The Dirty Picture' starring Vidya Balan, joins several stars who have, in recent times, been detained for not paying the required duty. From Bipasha Basu to Anushka Sharma and Minissha Lamba, the stories have been quite similar.
