People flocked to a chaat shop owned by an ardent fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit, as he distributed free chat, water-filled earthen pots and water bottles to mark the actress' birthday at Sakchi on May 15. The birthday was being celebrated with a social cause as the stall owner Pappu Sardar has been trying to make people aware about the need to save water on Dixit's birthday. He said the aim behind free distribution of water filled earthen pots and bottles was to make people understand how precious is water in our daily life when parts of the Steel city are facing acute water crisis. Pappu also released a calendar, which was dedicated to legendary film producer-director Yash Chopra, beginning the year with May 15, the birthday of Madhuri, and ending on May 14, 2014.
