Sonakshi Sinha is trying her level best to get into the skin of the character for her upcoming film LOOTERA, opposite Ranveer Singh. Sonakshi Sinha's character in LOOTERA is of Zamindar's daughter who has been to Shantiniketan, knows to paint, write and enjoy finer tastes of life. Sonakshi Sinha personally is a good painter and has learned painting during her SNDT college days. She just took a refresh course before she started shooting the film. Vikramaditya Motwane wanted her to look authentic while holding the brush, pallet, making strokes on the canvas and even draw. Vikramaditya Motwane was keen that she captures her body language correctly.

In fact, Sonakshi Sinha's character is expected to teach Ranveer Singh how to paint. In fact painting gets them close and Vikramaditya Motwane has beautifully captured their romance in the song Sawar loon.. where she teaches him to paint. LOOTERA is the most anticipated love story of this year. Says Vikramaditya Motwane, 'Sonakshi plays a character who loves painting, in the film, and there are quite few scenes of her enacting that. She being a trained painter was a great help, as she understands the body language, posture etc. much better than someone who hasn't learnt painting professionally.''
