The Income Tax department in Mumbai is conducting searches at the office of Balaji Telefilms headed by Ekta Kapoor. Searches are also being conducted at her home. Sources say she is being probed for suspected tax evasion and there are at least 100 officers from the IT department conducting these searches that began at 7 am this morning. This comes just days before Balaji Telefilms big movie Shootout at Wadala is scheduled to be released.
