The father-daughter duo will be featured for a song in the soon-to-be released ‘Bombay Talkies When star-kids make their entry into Bollywood, there’s often much interest on whether they’ll team up with their more celebrated kin on-screen. While some refrain from doing the obvious, others grab any given opportunity to cash in on their glorified Bollywood genes. And, doing just that is the father-daughter Kapoor duo.
Although Anil and Sonam Kapoor had initially claimed they’d share screen space only when they got a good script, they are now teaming up for a song. Yes, their maiden joint jig will be for the soon-to-be released ‘Bombay Talkies. Choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, the track will feature a string of other Bollywood stars.
‘Bombay Talkies’ is a collection of four short films directed by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee and Zoya Akhtar. It is still unclear if the Kapoors will be included in any of the four narratives. According to Indian movie websites, Anil Kapoor claimed it took him an hour to wrap up his ‘Bombay Talkies’ shoot, while Sonam finished hers in two hours.
