Anushka Sharma has so far had a dream run in Bollywood, making her debut opposite none other than the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, and going on to work with one of Indian cinema most celebrated filmmakers, the late Yash Chopra. And with a host of other big-ticket releases on the anvil, the 24-year-old actor clearly has the world at her feet. Anushka, who was in the Capital on Tuesday for a product launch, couldn't help but gush about her golden run in the industry. When quizzed about her career ahead, the actor, looking dazzling in a white skirt and yellow top, said: "I have some interesting projects in hand."
These days, she is busy with Anurag Kashyap's ambitious Bombay Velvet opposite Ranbir Kapoor and has been working hard to get her look right for the film, which is set in the Fifties-Seventies. While Anushka remains reluctant to give away much about either her role or the film at large, we have heard that she will be trying broad bell-bottom jeans and polka dot shirts to recreate the retro mood. The film aims at creating Bombay of the Fifties-Seventies, and will go on the floors as soon as Anurag finishes with the promotion and release of Bombay Talkies. Another biggie in her kitty is the Aamir Khan-Sanjay Dutt starrer P.K, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. So how was it working with the other King Khan? "I have enjoyed the entire experience," she replied.
