Amitabh Bachchan, one of the lead stars of Director Prakash Jha’s upcoming film ‘Aarakshan’ is totally disappointed these days. The reason behind this sudden gloom is the withdrawal of a key promotional activity that was supposed to be held in the Uttar Pradesh. Amitabh along with his whole team was all set to visit his homeland that is Uttar Pradesh to promote their upcoming film based on the sensitive issue of reservation. The team of the film was denied the permission to promote the film in the state by the administration as according to them, the film based on a sensitive issue like ‘Reservation’ might ignite certain disturbance in regional areas.

Amitabh who was excited to go on this trip was quite upset with this abrupt end, he wrote the following tweet to express this, ‘Feel disappointed that we are not allowed to promote film in U.P Lucknow … admin feels will excite and cause law and order problem’. He further wrote about the kind of warnings that were given to the team of ‘Aarakshan’, ‘The administration does not allow us to enter the city...unofficial reports by police say they have instructions to arrest us if we do’ he posted on his twitter page.
