The Censor board of Film Certification has cleared Shootout at Wadala with an ‘A’ certificate. Now, there won’t be any visual cut but some of the dialogues uttered in the flick have been asked to be removed or polished. It seems that director Sanjay Gupta has managed quite beautifully to convince the censor board. He was expecting an Adult-certificate for his film because of raw dialogues and action sequences.
Scenes relating to actors John Abraham, Manoj Bajpai and Tusshar Kapoor came tolight of the censor board and they were reasonable enough to ask the director to remove those sequences. As for Sunny Leone's controversial item number, Laila Teri Le Legi, it is being strongly recommended to change it to, Loot Legi. A source said, "The CBFC has allowed the words Le Le Legi to remain partially.
But they requested Gupta to reduce the number of times the phrase was used. So instead of Le Legi Sunny will gyrate to Laila Loot Legi halfway through the song." The director is very happy with the response he has got from CBFC and said that, “I think the Censor Board has been reasonable with my film. We expected an 'A' certificate and got that. Yeah, they did object to some dialogues. My actors are busy re-dubbing the dialogues that the CBFC wanted changed.”
