I'm out of B-town race: Anil Kapoor

He looks as fit as ever and shows no sign of fatigue. After playing quite a few bad guys in the past, Anil Kapoor now dons the role of a cop in Sanjay Gupta's `Shootout At Wadala'. So, ask him how it is to be back in action on the Bollywood turf? He says, "One thing I've learnt after my stint in Hollywood is that you don't have to change your style of acting.

In fact, even when I asked Danny Boyle during `Slumdog...', if I had to tone down my voice, action etc., he was like 'be yourself and act like you always do and do what you think is best for the role and I think this is the kind of learning I want to keep doing." Speaking more on this, he said, "See a good actor should be able to adapt himself to any role and I think I have in `Shootout...'.

Every actor's mind process works differently. I internalise the role so that the sensitivity of the character is not lost out. Of course, there are lots of other ways and means which I keep doing off an on - but I've been long enough in the industry to know that I am not in the race today. I am out of the race in Bollywood. I enjoy doing films and at the end of the shoot, if I see a satisfied smile on my director's face I know my work is done well."
