Susi Ganesh Productions will be celebrating the 100 years of Indian Cinema at the 66th Cannes Film Festival with the world premiere of its Bollywood thriller SHORTCUT ROMEO at Marche' du Film (the Cannes Film Market) that takes place between 15-26th May, 2013.

The film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh (JOHNNY GADDAR, SAAT KHOON MAAF), Ameesha Patel (KAHO NA PYAAR HAI, GADAR: EK PREM KATHA), and Miss India Universe in 2007 Puja Gupta (F.A.L.T.U, GO GOA GONE).

They will attend the premiere at Cannes along with the film's writer-director Susi Ganesh and producer Manjari Susi Ganesh. India is the guest country at Cannes this year, which makes the premiere still more special.

The film was also showcased at the European Film Market (EFM), Berlin, this February to a very encouraging response from global buyers and sales agents. SHORTCUT ROMEO will screen on May 22, 2013, at 3:30pm at Marche' du Film.

Susi Ganesh, popularly known as Susi Ganeshan in the India film industry, is an automobile engineer turned writer-director-producer. He has directed four films in Tamil, (VIRUMBUGIREAN, FIVE STAR, THIRUTTU PAYALE and KANTHASWAMY). Over the years his films have received 6 Tamil Nadu State Awards including best director, best screenplay writer and best film.

Shortcut Romeo is Ganesh's 5th film but his first as a director-producer. In 2010 Ganesh launched his production house Susi Ganesh Productions Pvt. Ltd. and wrote, produced, and directed his first Bollywood film, a thriller, SHORTCUT ROMEO.
