Power Matters For Shah Rukh Khan

Easily deemed the popular Bollywood actor in advertisements along with Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan recently turned to endorse Genus Inverters. Closely linked with the humanitarian issue of power shortage in India, Shah Rukh Khan has addressed the same closely in his 2004 film Swades.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the plot of the film revolved around a NASA scientist giving up his plush job and cushy American life to improve, the social situation in India. Uncannily, the commercial was shot at Wai, the same place where the film Swades was shot. With the encroaching summer heat, power crisis is expected to worsen.

SRK during the filming of the advertisement was reminded of his adolescent life in Delhi, where he preferred studying under a candle during power cuts and wet floors to cool the room from the sweltering heat. Hence, the issue is a personal one for SRK and matters a lot for the actor. Genus inverters have smartly placed their release just before the summer heat reaches its hilt, providing it as a good answer to the power cuts that will soon prevail largely in most zones in India.
