Lead stars’ singing a song or a two in their own films seems to be the latest trend in Bollywood. Be it Farhan Akhtar in ‘Rock On!!’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ or Abhishek in ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ the list is endless. Many stars these days are asked to record a song in their voice as it makes headlines and is a tricky publicity tool to promote the film.

After the abovementioned stars crooned to the melodious and hip hop tracks in their respective films, Sanjay Dutt too has now joined the bandwagon of actors-cum-singers for his film ‘Chatur Singh : Two star’. Sanjay Dutt has sung two tracks in his forthcoming film. A small chunk of one song is already heard in the promo whereas the other song is a special promotional song in which Sanjay Dutt will be heard singing in his heavy manly voice. Before this Sanjay Dutt has sung in his previous films like ‘Kaante’ & ‘Munnabhai M.B. B. S.’ and his sung tracks have been quite popular with the audience and have proved fruitful in the film’s success.
