After their public make-up hug at a recently held awards show, it does appear that they might be finally ready to let bygones be bygones After his secret love story with Priyanka Chopra went kaput and his Bollywood career didn’t take off as he would’ve wanted to, Harman Baweja had literally gone into hiding. Only to resurface at a recent film awards show in Vancouver. His appearance made news, not because it was his first public outing in many months, but because he and his ex-lover Priyanka had behaved courteously.
Considering Priyanka had never ever acknowledged their relationship while they were dating, and had reportedly left him when his acting career bombed, one would’ve expected Harman to ignore or avoid her at public events. But, being the gentleman he is, Harman stepped forward to hug her at a recently held film awards show in Vancouver. This was the first time, since their alleged break-up, that the two had been seen together. “This was probably the first time they were under the same roof after working together in ‘What's Your Rashee?’” reported the Indian media.
Images of their embrace was posted on twitter by Priyanka Chopra’s fan club (@PeeCeeLoverz) and Filmicafe. According to the report in Mumbai tabloid Mid-Day; “During the awards ceremony both PC and Harman came face to face and unlike other estranged couples, they hugged each other warmly. The hug sent across a message that all is well between the two.” The two estranged lovers had earlier worked together in flops like ‘Love Story 2050’ and ‘What's Your Raashee?’.
In fact, there are reports about how Priyanka had continued to be friends with Harman’s sister despite the two deciding to go separate ways. Harmen, despite showing incredible promise as an actor, has failed to accelerate his Bollywood career. His third movie ‘It’s My Life’ has been in limbo for a few years now, and he has one more project with Shilpa Shetty’s home production that should be slated for a release this year. Hopefully, his ex-lover, who is doing incredibly well for herself, might step in and help resurrect his dipping career.
