Salman Khan’s team vs. Members of Parliament

Salman Khan’s Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) team, Mumbai Heroes, will reportedly play against a team comprised of Members of Parliament, MP 11, on April 27 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. CCL is owned by Celesports Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture initiated by Sohail Khan, Vikas Kapoor, Adil Jagmagia and Jordy Patel to unite entertainment and sports, similar to the Indian Premiere League.

Although not renowned for their performance on the pitch, Mumbai Heroes is probably the most star-studded team in the league, captained by Suniel Shetty and comprising of Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan. Also on the squad are Bollywood actors Bobby Deol (“Gupt”), Aftab Shivdasani (“Hungama”), Sonu Sood (“Jodhaa Akbar”) and Raja Bherwani (“Mumbai Mirror”), among others. The match promises to be a treat, not just for flaunting B-Town hotties but also because it will require the Members of Parliament, who normally represent different parties, to exercise teamwork with one another.
