Actor Puja Gupta, who has just finished shooting Shortcut Romeo, says her co-star Neil Nitin Mukesh helped her feel comfortable in the romantic scenes. The actress said that since she knew Neil already, it was easier for her to shoot some of the scenes with him. “Neil is a friend and he has helped me a lot with acting. It is my first romantic film. He made me feel comfortable,” says Puja. “Every girl would love to do romantic films.
But this is the beauty of acting that you can enjoy everything. I want to live every character,” she adds. Shortcut Romeo is the remake of southern film Thiruttu Payale. But Puja said she was warned not to watch the Tamil film. “I asked my director (Susi Ganeshan) if I could see the film, but he said that that would change my natural way of acting. Actresses in south are very different from actresses in Bollywood,” she says. Puja has earlier been a part of the film F.A.L.T.U. Her next will be Go Goa Gone.
