Late superstar Rajesh Khanna's last film "Riyasat" will be released on his first death anniversary July 18, says director Ashok Tyagi, adding he has finally ironed out all the problems. Rajesh Khanna, the first superstar of Hindi films who died after a prolonged illness, is known for hits like "Aradhana", "Kati Patang", "Anand", "Amar Prem" and "Aan Milo Sajna". "Finally, the film will release on Kakaji's first death anniversary on July 18th. We missed his birthday (Dec 29). We faced our own hardships and hiccups and we have overcome those.
July 18th is a Thursday, so we will have the premiere on that date," Tyagi told. Earlier, the film was supposed to come out on Rajesh Khanna's birth anniversary, but there were reports that no distributors was ready to release the movie. "Now all off a sudden things have changed. I think, it is Kakaji up there who has done some miracle. Now there are people who are ready to put in crores for the film. Now the film will release under all circumstances," said Tyagi.
