Godrej Group has roped in Bollywood actor Aamir Khan as its new brand ambassador, the company announced on Wednesday. Sharing his views on the association, Aamir Khan said, “Godrej is a company which has always stood for the highest in quality and dependability, but along with that, it is also one of the most modern and innovative brands, constantly ahead of the pack. It is a pleasure to associate with such a versatile and dynamic brand." "Also, I love the creative idea of this campaign. It is challenging and full of fun and humour", Aamir added.
The actor appears in a series of television commercials feature eight products across the group in a new avatar. The new masterbrand campaign was launched on the 25th of March and will strategically associate with the group initiatives throughout the year. Commenting on the campaign strategy and the choice of Aamir Khan as the brand ambassador, Shireesh Joshi, Head-Strategic Marketing, Godrej Group said, “Given the Godrej Group’s wide portfolio of offerings that covers everything from personal care to property and microwaves to moulded furniture, nearly 70% of a modern home can be furnished with Godrej products."
He added, "The new chapter of our brand journey aims to bring to light this culture of innovation that has been intrinsic to the group. With this new campaign- ‘Ideas that make life brighter’ and the iconic Aamir as our groupwide brand ambassador, we are certain that consumers will see the width and scale with which we fulfill our brand promise of brighter living.” In a press release, the company said that while 50 crore Indians look to Godrej for products to access a better lifestyle, not all of them are aware about the wide range of innovative products from Godrej. The latest campaign seems aimed at creating this awareness.
