The actor’s famous musical instrument is under the hammer on eBay for an hour. Bollywood is not known to sell a lot of classic movie memorabilia. However, with changing times and a shift towards e-commerce, Yash Raj Films is auctioning the guitar used by Shahrukh Khan in the song Challa in Yash Chopra’s last movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. It’s the same guitar that got Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh together in the film.

Priced at a steep Rs 8 lakhs in eBay, the guitar is being auctioned by YRF in partnership with ARUNIM, an NGO that has promised to donate the proceeds to people with disabilities. Sure the price may be steep, but the humble brown Gibson Rosewood acoustic guitar has definitely entered the annals of Bollywood history.
