The buzz about Aamir Khan’s Talaash is slowly growing despite the fact that so far it doesn’t look like a typical mass entertainer. Crime thrillers do have their audience but when compared to romantic films and brainless entertainers, they have a long way to go.

Trade pundits have already said that a grim looking Aamir will not be able to pull in the crowd in hordes even if he has two gorgeous girls – Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji – by his side. But director Reema Kagti is confident that Talaash will be a huge draw at the box office.

The makers have released a jazz-based song Muskaanein jhooti hain and as much as we like it, the people who lap up tracks like Dhinkachika might feel alienated. Composed by Ram Sampath, this song has been written by Javed Akhtar and has vocals by Suman Sridhar.

The video looks very retro and classy, and it is good to see Aamir, Kareena and Rani in one frame. We hear that this is just a promotional song and will not feature in the film when it releases later next month.
