Vidya Balan Interest in film making: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's career is taking a definite 'direction'. The Paa actress sees herself wielding the megaphone some day. This was apparent on the sets of Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani, where Vidya was seen sitting with the cast, offering tips on understanding the technical aspects of filmmaking.

"She has grown as an actress. And now, Vidya's taking an interest in film making. She plays a pregnant woman in the film, which also sees a couple of young actors making their debut. During one of the difficult scenes that involved several retakes, a patient Vidya sat them down and enlightened them on technical angles," said a source.

"It was interesting to see this side to her. Even Sujoy applauded her effort to get involved," the source added. Between shots, Vidya was often seen discussing direction with him. Apparently, she showed keen interest in understanding the techniques.
